I saw Yeasayer and Chairlift last night at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia with Kate. While she was taking notes and photos like the professional blogger she is I took these kind of crappy videos. I learned the microphone on my pocket camera apparently does not like big PA speakers. The Yeasayer video is all short clips because my battery kept dying however its all clips of new songs. Both bands had good sets played to a packed Church which was a sweat box like usual. Yeasayer apparently are taking a year off or so they said. I am glad they played a lot of new stuff and that it sounded quite promising. The show starting late and having an opening band, Fang Island, was a bad call on a Thursday which I blame on Agnew’s absence.
